Official: Formula 1 to end years of tradition around the Monaco Grand Prix

The rumours that the Monaco Grand Prix weekend will be shortened to three days from 2022 prove true. Formula One boss Stefano Domenicali has confirmed that the race weekend will start on Friday from next year, rather than Thursday. Formula 1 ends traditional four-day weekend in Monaco This means the end of a long standing tradition. Historically, the weekend in Monte Carlo always started on Thursday.
