Ferrari winless for two years: 'Fall back on wishful thinking'

For two years Ferrari has had to go without a victory, a total of 37 Grands Prix. On 22 September 2019 in Singapore, Sebastian Vettel delivered the last victory for the Italian team that only once before had to go so long without a win. One-longest drought for Ferrari Between 1990 and 1994, Ferrari was dry for no less than 59 races. In Ferrari's long history, there were only a few seasons when no Grand Prix victory was achieved. In recent history this was only the case in 2014 and 2016. This season, Ferrari finished on the podium three times with Carlos Sainz' second place in Monaco as the best result.
