Sainz considered soft tyres in Sochi rain

Carlos Sainz Third placed finisher in the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix Carlos Sainz admitted he almost switched to soft tyres instead of the intermediate as rain fell late in the race. The Spaniard started off the front row and led the opening laps before dropping down the order following his pit stop.
