Tost backs Verstappen to take 2021 championship

AlphaTauri team principal Franz Tost has revealed that he believes that Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will emerge triumphant in this year's Formula 1 drivers championship battle. This year's contest is proving one of the closest and hardest-fought in over a decade, with the lead in the standings swapping back and forth between Verstappen and reigning champion Lewis Hamilton. But while Hamilton has seven titles under his belt and is going for a record eighth, Tost feels that Verstappen now has the upper hand and the advantage as he seeks his maiden title.
