Mercedes could take Hamilton penalty in Turkey

Toto Wolff has confirmed that Mercedes are considering taking an engine penalty for Lewis Hamilton at the Turkish Grand Prix.  Drivers are only allowed to use three power units this season, with a change to a fourth causing them to be handed a grid penalty for the race weekend that they make said change. A number of drivers have taken such a penalty in recent times, including Hamilton's title rival, Max Verstappen, and his team-mate Valtteri Bottas, with both changing their engine at Sochi. With the Brit currently on his third with seven rounds to go of the 2021 campaign, it looks likely that he'll have to do so at some point too.
