Red Bull turned away: FIA declare Mercedes engine legal

While Mercedes and Honda-powered Red Bull were evenly matched in terms of engine performance earlier in the season, things have changed at recent events. Mercedes now hold a decided advantage, which was apparent over the course of the Turkish Grand Prix weekend. Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner noted that while his cars could previously match Mercedes by running smaller wings, that's no longer the case.
