FIA rejects Alonso's allegations: The rules are applied equally

Article To news overview © Alpine Michael Masi has stressed that the FIA applies the same rules to every driver following comments made by Fernando Alonso suggesting that this isn't the case. Alonso recently explained that he made trips through the run-off area at the Russian Grand Prix to "confirm" his belief that Formula 1 has "different rules for different people". The Spaniard also seemingly referenced the fact that Lando Norris escaped a penalty for crossing the white line on the pit lane entry in Sochi when he said: "Let's see the next one that crosses the white line on the pit entry, let's see which nationality he is and which penalty he will get."...
