Tost reveals that not everyone at Honda wanted to leave Formula 1

Honda will leave Formula 1 at the end of 2021. Red Bull Racing will take over the rights to the engines and will continue to develop them within the constraints of the so-called 'engine-freeze'. Franz Tost has hinted that not everyone at Honda is happy with the departure from the sport. After seven eventful seasons, Honda is saying goodbye to Formula One again. It returned as an engine supplier to McLaren in 2015. That didn't turn out to be a good marriage and the F1 team and Honda ended the partnership after three seasons.
