Brown applauds drivers after ‘most popular team' vote

Zak Brown has applauded the attitude of McLaren's drivers after the team were voted the most popular team in a fan survey. In a survey conducted by Nielsen and Motorsport Network, fans from 187 countries recently cast their votes in a huge Formula 1 data-gathering quest. A total of 167,302 people responded voting for their favourite drivers and teams on the current grid, and McLaren got the most votes in the latter. They received 29.5% of the vote, ahead of Red Bull and Ferrari who had 19.7% and 17.9% respectively, and Brown says such a result is flattering.
