Hamilton contradicts Wolff: "That’s pretty strong use of words there"

There seems to have been some disagreement at Mercedes. According to Toto Wolff the team had to make adjustments to both cars, because the bumpy tarmac of the Circuit of the Americas would damage them. According to Lewis Hamilton it was not that bad. Wolff claimed that Mercedes lost a lot of speed after the changes were made. This was proven by the disappointing performance of the German team on Saturday, compared to a stronger Red Bull Racing. According to the team boss the changes were necessary to be able to finish the race at all. He even spoke of a possible 'massacre' in terms of damage to the cars on Sunday.
