Verstappen leads Gasly in opening practice in Qatar

F1 championship leader Max Verstappen topped opening practice at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar, the Red Bull driver edging AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly by 0.437s. The Mercedes duo of Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton lined up third and fourth in a session devoted to learning the new venue for teams and drivers. Behind the top four, Yuki Tsunoda and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz completed the top six. Times to follow...
