Pirelli recommends a two-stop strategy for Qatar race

F1 Grand Prix, GP Qatar, Losail International Circuit Despite the constant performance from the tyres in Friday’s second practice session, Formula One’s sole tyre supplier Pirelli thinks that drivers should approach today’s inaugural Qatar Grand Prix with a two-stop strategy. Yesterday’s qualifying session took place in stable conditions with temperatures staying consistent at around 26 degrees centigrade ambient and 28 degrees on track throughout qualifying. Similar conditions are expected for today’s race.
