Villeneuve thought it was ridiculous: 'Wasn't Formula 1, but rental karting'

The Saudi Arabia Grand Prix was a spectacle for some people, but others hated it. Jacques Villeneuve says at Autosport that he found the race in Jeddah more of a show than a race. The street circuit in Jeddah made for an eventful race. There were incidents, red flags, safety cars in all shapes and sizes and restarts. On the other hand, Formula 1 and Formula 2 showed that there are certainly possibilities to overtake and that exciting scenes can arise. Still, the former world champion is dissatisfied.
