Pirelli outline plans for 18-inch tyre testing in 2022

With F1 switching to larger wheels and tyres for 2022, Pirelli embarked on an intensive test programme throughout 2021 as teams supplied modified mule cars for Pirelli to evaluate the new compounds. In 2022, the plan is to continue the specific tyre tests throughout the year as Pirelli evaluate compounds and respond to any initial teething problems.
