Inside Line: GRANDPRIX247 Facebook page hijacked and hacked
Dear Readers, we have had a baffling and desperate 24 hours with our Facebook page – with over 40,000 active fans – after it was compromised by scammers/hackers. I personally was tapped up through Facebook Business Suite by ‘partners' with legitimate Facebook credentials to monetise posts on our GRANDPRIX247 page. Being an apparently legitimate offer, with emails etc backing up their credibility, they provided links to Facebook admin pages. I followed the instructions and in a nutshell at around 5:00am CET they somehow took ownership of the page, and removed myself and Jad Mallak from the admin access with them somehow taking ownership of the page that for over a decade...
