Mercedes introduce new winglet for Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

Mercedes have arrived at the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix with an extra winglet on the side of the car in an attempt to improve airflow. In Australia, the Silver Arrows’ car sported two winglets halfway between the front nose and the extremely small sidepods in a bid to improve airflow and eradicate “porpoising,” but its effects were minimal and they have now implemented a new one. On the Mercedes livery, there is an ocean of black carbon fibre on the lower half of the chassis, with a green strip in the middle.
