Rosberg accuses Wolff of ‘playing the mental game' after Russell defeated Hamilton ‘fair and square'

Nico Rosberg has praised George Russell’s excellent performance at the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as he secured a fourth-placed finish, 9 positions ahead of team-mate Sir Lewis Hamilton. After finishing 11th and 14th respectively in the sprint, Russell and Hamilton had contrasting fortunes at the start on Sunday as Russell leaped up to sixth, while the seven-time champion remained outside the top 10. The Briton went on to fend off Valtteri Bottas to secure 12 points while Hamilton was stuck for large portions of the race behind Pierre Gasly, and he crossed the line having failed to pick up any points from the weekend for the first time in 2022.
