Ecclestone shrugs: 'There's a lot of stupid stuff coming out of America'

Bernie Ecclestone has been gone from the F1 stage for several years now. Yet the now 91-year-old former boss of Formula 1 still manages to keep the minds busy. This weekend it is also pricey. This time America is under fire. Not enthusiastic Ecclestone sold Formula 1 to Liberty Media, an American company that runs Formula 1 in an American way. For example, there is more focus on entertainment and a good supporting program. Moreover, Liberty Media is exploring new markets, such as the home country. The new race in Miami is a good example.
