Red Bull to field a new driver during the Spanish GP weekend

Article To news overview © Red Bull Contentpool Formula 2 racer Juri Vips will appear for Red Bull during Friday practice at the Spanish Grand Prix, the team have confirmed. The Estonian, 21, will replace Sergio Perez for the opening 60-minute session at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as one of the two mandatory young driver sessions that outfits must complete in 2022. Vips participated in the end-of-season young driver tests in Abu Dhabi in 2020 and 2021, but will now make his Grand Prix weekend debut.
