Hamilton and Russell both take on new power units in Barcelona
Article To news overview © XPB Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have both taken on new power units for the Spanish Grand Prix weekend. A Technical Delegate’s Report released by the FIA confirms that the two Mercedes cars have been fitted with a new Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), as well as each taking on a new turbocharger, motor generator unit-heat (MGU-H) and motor generator unit-kinetic (MGU-K). Additionally, each W13 is running a new exhaust system. All of these elements are within the amount allocated for a season, so the changes do not warrant any penalties.
