Two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso has fiercely criticised stewarding standards following the penalty meted out to him in Miami. The Spaniard was handed a post-race time penalty, which dropped him out of the points, after he was deemed to have gained an advantage by cutting the chicane as he battled with Mick Schumacher. 'On Lap 53, the Alpine driver had cut the Turn 14 chicane which in the process increased the gap to the pursuing Haas of Mick Schumacher, thereby putting the Spaniard out of DRS range,' said the stewards.
