Ferrari doesn't think about team orders yet: 'Adapt car to Sainz first'

At Ferrari, it seems increasingly likely that Charles Leclerc will be the clear number one driver in 2022. Carlos Sainz, partly due to two dropouts, is already far behind in the championship. However, Laurent Mekies indicates that team orders are still a long way off. After the first five Grands Prix of 2022, Leclerc has already built a 51-point lead against his teammate Sainz. Leclerc's direct rival Max Verstappen also won the past two races, making the fight for the title fully back.
