Leclerc fastest in FP3 as Mercedes remain with the front-runners

Article To news overview © Ferrari Charles Leclerc and Ferrari completed a practice clean sweep by setting the pace during FP3 for the Spanish Grand Prix in hot Barcelona conditions. Leclerc clocked a 1:19.772 on the Soft compound tyre to finish a tenth clear of Red Bull driver and championship rival Max Verstappen. Despite vaulting up the order from Friday practice, Verstappen still complained of a "terrible" balance behind the wheel of his car. Mercedes continued their encouraging practice form by placing third and fourth with George Russell and Lewis Hamilton respectively.
