Russell enjoyed Verstappen battle: "Did all I could to keep him behind"

George Russell demonstrated his worth in the Mercedes car by engaging in a terrific battle with last year's World Champion Max Verstappen. The British driver was aided by a failed DRS for Verstappen, but some strong defensive moves would've impressed Toto Wolff. In the end, Russell nursed home an issue of his own and stood on the podium.  Mercedes porpoising Mercedes have solved, or at least significantly improved, issues related to bouncing on the home straight.
