Hamilton defends Schiff after social media attack

Lewis Hamilton has defended Naomi Schiff after the broadcaster came under attack on social media. The seven-time former World Champion took to social media to defend Schiff after the broadcaster was singled out for criticism and bullying on Twitter. Schiff, a Rwandan-Belgian racing driver who grew up in South Africa before moving to the UK, has joined the Sky Sports F1 team for 2022, offering her broadcasting and punditry skills after a season's racing in W Series in 2019. She was appointed as the series' diversity and inclusion ambassador in 2020.
