Leclerc to take on new engine components after ICE and turbo ‘completely destroyed'

Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari ICE and turbo unit used in Baku are completely destroyed and cannot be used again this season, according to reports from Italy. Leclerc started the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on pole position, but lost the lead to Red Bull’s Sergio Perez off the start. The first of Ferrari’s issues occurred nine laps into the race when Carlos Sainz came to a stop due to a hydraulic failure, and this brought out the Virtual Safety Car.
