Sainz buoyed by 'quicker' Ferrari despite frustrating P2 result

Article To news overview © XPB Images Carlos Sainz was pleased with the race pace demonstrated by Ferrari in the Canadian Grand Prix, but was frustrated to narrowly lose out on the win to Max Verstappen. Following a late-race Safety Car period, the Scuderia driver pressured Verstappen for the victory, but was unable to make a move for the lead. The result is Sainz's fifth second-place finish in F1, meaning he will continue to wait for a maiden victory in the sport.
