Lance Stroll ‘lacking confidence' ahead of huge Aston Martin upgrade

Lance Stroll is having a poor season, as the Canadian continues to struggle with the new regulations. Whilst the Aston Martin F1 Team driver is under no pressure of losing his seat, Stroll has been consistently outperformed by four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel. The German is also struggling this year, however, Vettel has managed to make the most out of the AMR22 to claim some points. After nine races, Stroll has scored just three points; Vettel has scored thirteen. To make matters even worse for the Canadian, he trails his German team-mate 6-1 in qualifying (Vettel missed the opening two races having tested positive for COVID-19).
