Leclerc expects competitive Ferrari: 'Performance felt good in the car'

The pressure is on for Charles Leclerc this weekend. The disappointing results of the past few weekends have seen Leclerc fall behind leader Max Verstappen, meaning he cannot afford to retire. Despite a tough first day at Silverstone, the Monegasque is positive, he told Sky Sports. Article continues under ad Ferrari hoped to get Leclerc off to a good start, but heavy rain in the first session meant the driver could only complete seven laps. He recorded a fifth time. The Italians could not compare this time with that of Red Bull Racing however, as that team decided to stay indoors for the entire session.
