Article To news overview W Series driver Abbie Eaton has called for action to be taken on safety following a frightening accident in the F2 Feature Race over the British Grand Prix weekend. Zhou Guanyu was not the only driver to be protected by the Halo on his car over the weekend at Silverstone, with Formula 2 driver Roy Nissany also suffering a horror accident when he collided with fellow competitor Dennis Hauger. Hauger was attempting to overtake Nissany after he ran wide in front of him, but instead the two collided, sending Hauger skidding off the circuit with a puncture before being launched by a kerb and flying across Nissany’s car.
