Alpine junior thinks he's ready for a chance in Formula 1

Formula 2 driver Jack Doohan believes he is ready to make the step to Formula 1 if given the chance. It is possible that the Australian will be given a chance with the Alpine team in the future as Oscar Piastri looks set to leave. Article continues under ad Doohan was part of the Red Bull Junior Team until 2021, but the Australian driver made a surprise switch to the Alpine Academy after finishing second in the Formula 3 championship. Doohan has already won two Formula 2 races this season and is ninth in the championship.
