Ralf Schumacher 'can't imagine' Ricciardo will get another F1 chance

Ralf Schumacher reckons that Daniel Ricciardo's departure from McLaren, if confirmed, will signal the end of the Aussie's career in Formula 1. Ricciardo is theoretically contracted to McLaren until the end of 2023, but the Woking-based outfit has allegedly signed up Alpine reserve driver Oscar Piastri to replace the eight-time Grand Prix winner whose results in the past two seasons have fallen short of his team's expectations. McLaren and Ricciardo are therefore reportedly in talks to reach a financial settlement that would cover the early termination of the Aussie's three-year contract.
