Alonso on 'distance' between F1 drivers: 'There are no normal conversations'

At the age of 41, Fernando Alonso is still a valued driver in the Formula 1 world. Next year he will make the switch to Aston Martin. The Spaniard hopes that the collaboration will go well. Article continues under ad After the Hungarian Grand Prix, Alonso made the surprising announcement that he will leave Alpine after 2022 for the Aston Martin team, where the Spaniard will replace Sebastian Vettel. Many fans and experts, but also Alpine itself, were surprised by Alonso's choice. "The contract for two more years with another team [Aston Martin] is innovative.
