Max Verstappen caught flipping off George Russell at Monza

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen amusingly showed Mercedes’ George Russell the finger in Monza after growing frustrated at the Briton during practice at the Italian Grand Prix. Verstappen was trying to set some qualifying laps in the final practice session on Saturday morning, but Russell was on a race run, so both were entitled to continue on their way as they were. The Dutchman quickly grew impatient at being stuck behind Russell though, so he fumed over the radio to his engineer, Gianpiero Lambiase. “What is this?!” exclaimed the reigning champion, before Lambiase suggested that Russell might be facing a trip to the stewards after the session.
