Lewis Hamilton stunned by latest title victory

Extreme E is a motorsport series governed by the FIA where drivers take part in off-road racing in electric vehicles. Multiple F1 driver have shown an interest in the sport, with Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Jenson Button all investing in teams of their own to compete in the championship. Going into the final event of the weekend in Uruguay, Hamilton’s team only needed to secure a top three finish to wrap up the title and did so with a podium finish. The weekend was not as easy as drivers Sebastian Loeb and Cristina Gutierrez would have liked, having to battle their way through the heats to even make the final, where they secured the title.
