Sergio Perez makes big claim about Las Vegas GP after bad casino experience
Formula 1 has traditionally only had once race per season in the United States, with the Circuit of the Americas being a regular on the calendar in recent years. Since Liberty Media took majority ownership of the Formula One Group, the sport has understandably stepped up its presence in the USA, as sponsors look to host more races closer to home. The Grand Prix in Austin this year shattered the previous attendance record, and after Miami joined the calendar this year, Las Vegas will become another addition in 2023, meaning the USA will host three races next season.
