F1 confirms: Chinese Grand Prix cancelled for third year in a row
Formula 1 has confirmed that the Chinese Grand Prix will not take place in 2023. Other circuits are currently being considered to take China's place. Article continues under ad Corona rules are still very strict in China, preventing Formula 1 from heading to the country for a Grand Prix for the third year in a row. Alternatives are currently being considered, but a final decision is not expected for a few weeks. The last race in China took place in 2019 before the Covid pandemic.
