Logan Sargeant will be the 151st American driver to start a world championship race when he makes his Formula 1 debut for Williams next year. The vast majority of that number shouldn’t really be considered F1 drivers given they competed only in the Indianapolis 500, when it paid world championship points from 1950-1960.
