Button: 'I am hugely looking forward to Le Mans this year'
Last Saturday, it was announced that Jenson Button will take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. At MotorsportWeek.com the former F1 world champion made some statements about the matter. Article continues under ad "This is my first time back [at Le Mans] since 2018, and I’m really looking forward to it," says the Briton. In 2018, he made his debut in the LMP1 class. Success was then to no avail as the car suffered engine problems that led to a DNF. Button joins NASCAR Garage 56 along with Le Mans winner Mike Rockenfeller and NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson.
