‘Stormy times': FIA and Formula 1 bosses clashing on yet another matter

After a heated couple of weeks for Formula 1 and the FIA, things are reportedly getting no better between the two ahead of the 2023 season, with the duo now arguing over yet another topic. The governing body certainly isn't in the sport's good books as it stands, after FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem labelled the rejected $20 billion offer to buy the sport from Liberty Media as 'inflated'. In doing so, Ben Sulayem effectively questioned the value of F1, with the FIA having no rights to question the value of the pinnacle of motorsport, with Liberty Media possessing the full 'commercial rights'.
