Red Bull and Ford to link up as F1 technical partners from 2026

Article To news overview Ford and Red Bull have announced a multi-year deal to become power unit suppliers from the 2026 F1 season. Following the earlier news that Ford will enter Formula 1 from 2026, a technical partnership with Red Bull Powertrains has now been confirmed. The partnership, called Red Bull Ford Powertrains, will focus on the development of the next-gen hybrid power unit, which will supply engines to both Red Bull and sister team AlphaTauri from 2026 until at least 2030. Ford will provide expertise in areas including the battery cell and electric motor technology, along with power unit control software and analytics.
