Ford and Red Bull: cooperation mainly in battery development

For Ford, its return to Formula 1 is important for several reasons. Thanks to the sport's increased popularity in the United States, the US brand expects to tap into a new audience (read: buyers) at home. Moreover, it can work with partner Red Bull Racing to electrify its passenger vehicles.
