Following the conclusion of the 2022 season, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, McLaren and Williams were all forced to hunt for a new team principal. While Ferrari and McLaren managed to fill their vacancy within a couple of weeks, it has taken until the turn of the year for Williams and Alfa Romeo to address their voids. Williams have recently replaced Jost Capito with Mercedes’ strategic director James Vowles, with the Brit set to take full control before pre-season testing begins in a few weeks’ time.
