Magnussen battled braking, gearbox issues in qualifying

Kevin Magnussen battled multiple issues during qualifying Haas driver Kevin Magnussen revealed he struggled with downshifting and braking issues throughout qualifying for the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The Dane will start the race 13th, three places back from team-mate Nico Hulkenberg who benefits from Charles Leclerc's grid penalty. Magnussen managed a best time of1:29.517s, just 0.06s down on his team-mate. It was an effort that was just a tenth shy of that which would have seen him through into Qualifying 3.
