Roll back the clock to the late-1960s and early ’70s and on any given weekend you’d see a McLaren on-track, whether that was in Formula 1, IndyCar, sports car racing, or somewhere else. Fast-forward to the present day and the story is very much the same — but at the same time, hugely different. McLaren remains part of the furniture in F1.
