Hamilton admits to set-up error: ‘I fought for something and made it harder’
Lewis Hamilton has admitted he went against the advice of his Mercedes F1 team and picked a set-up direction that made qualifying at the Monaco Grand Prix “even harder”. Hamilton had been the quicker of the two Mercedes drivers throughout practice but complained about his upgraded W14 throughout qualifying as he struggled for pace.
