Newey joins Aston Martin as Managing Technical Partner

10/09/2024 at 11:19 Aston Martin has officially confirmed that legendary F1 car designer Adrian Newey will be joining the team, marking a significant milestone in the team's ambitious bid for Formula 1 supremacy. The announcement, made on Tuesday, brings F1’s most successful designer to the Silverstone-based outfit, following months of speculation. Team owner Lawrence Stroll, who has been on an aggressive recruitment drive, spared no effort in securing Newey’s services, outmaneuvering Ferrari in the race to sign the engineering genius.
