Bortoleto emerges as frontrunner for second Audi F1 seat

11/09/2024 at 17:4911/09/2024 at 18:45 Brazilian Formula 2 charger Gabriel Bortoleto has reportedly emerged as the leading candidate for the second seat at Audi-Sauber alongside Nico Hulkenberg for 2025. The McLaren junior’s impressive performances in his maiden season in F2 have made him an attractive option for the Swiss-based F1 team which is considering pairing Hulkenberg with a promising young talent as it looks towards its long-term future with Audi.
