My heart tells me that Williams is upto something good. Looking forward to it. Personally impressed with their vision of the new regs. wont be surprised to see williams in a mix of things in 2022. Patrick head has obviously had a good experience in his life time.

  2. How would all the teams have a better prospect than what they did in 2014?

Regulations changes this time around focuses on NOT letting any one team walk away with it.

Even before 2014 everyone was ready with the fact that one team might dominate the new regs, and that came true. And what happened?? 1 team winning constructors for 8 years in a row? s##t show init?

Huge respect for Ross brawn to bring about one of the biggest changes in F1 to give us a fair motor racing event!.

  3. Alpine seems in doldrums. Seems like another story of a manufacturer moving from regular turbo to split and facing reliability issues while other 3 manufacturers have made progress on their respective power units.

McLaren Ferrari and AM seem to be having a good preparation for the coming year.

Redbull and Merc look poised to bring in thier A game if the reports are true.

I read on so many boards the desire for "better" (closer) racing and more equity between cars. I don't understand why anyone, watching the best the racing world has to offer, expect 10 different constructors to design, fabricate, and develop individual vehicles that run at the same speed. A preposterous thought when it's supposed to be the exhibition of who can create, and who can drive, the highest tech race cars on the planet. Why does anyone want to lower the bar for this demonstration, when there are other series that have diluted themselves to put on the desired "show".

F1 is technically advanced as compared to other racing series,,, yes. But it does not give it the right to take away the charm of showcasing the driver's championship,,, at the cost of holding a constructors championship alongside each other's. If there is a constructor who comes up with a car that has an undue advantage, only 2 driver's benefit from it.

Imagine 20 people playing poker, but for 2 of those twenty, we deal out of a different deck that has more aces, kings, queens and jacks.

Motorracing has a human gladiator element connected it, if you take that away, then we are only left with who can create the best cars.

Equality in regulations is important, within which teams can find ingenious solutions, but nothing that gives them an unfair advantage.

I personally see F1 in a better shape in 2022. It's is challenging for the constructors, and fair to the driver's, that is what it should be.

  5. I have respect for otmar.

He has been very smart in defending AM when times were difficult. And very efficient in building this team to the success it reached last year.. and then came the stroll money that slipped logic away..

He will be a key player at Alpine, who need someone exactly like him to take control of the team. He's definitely an asset for any team that were to hire him..

AM wanted Alonso.. Alpine took away Szafnauer.. good one Alpine.. good one.. 👏

At this time, his trophy cabinet IS bare.

Correction. McLaren has 1 trophy for the winning constructor for Monza 2021. And this is in the first year they have Moved to a Mercedes PU. Unfortunately, they had a Renault and Honda PU that didn't deliver as per expectations.

Having said that. Trophy cabinet aside, as a boss, he has raked in a lot of respect from the whole world for McLaren, and THAT (for me), is what counts more.

They will have a better chance from 2022 onwards for other trophies to be added to the said cabinet.

Untrue.  A legend is NOT real.

You've tried to argue this before, so I hope this helps.. The word has MORE than just one usage to itself... And it CAN validly be used for either of it's 2 meanings, depending on the sentence you frame.. Please get the wind of where the sentense is going.

Not everyone acts gentalmanly when it comes to 'keeping' their bets. Mr Abite-bowl-movement sheepishly seems to have ran away from his.

    I find it strange U R unable 2 comprehend such a thing.

Just offering my respect to this man for keeping his promises, and helping the team come to this point where McLaren is being regarded as the most Fav team amongst the fans..

Mr. Brown is an absolute Legend. He's going to go down as one of the best team bosses F1 has seen.
