  2. Hello Karen! Don't be afraid about not being an enthusiast, we only talk about F1 29.2% of the time anyway! And I don't even watch or care about it, but somehow I get on just fine... Anyway, enjoy your time here at TF1!
  3. You don't have two. We all know you look like Carol Yager.
  4. Hello Wotjek! Welcome to the TotalF1 Forums. My name is Eric. You missed my glory days. I've turned into a whiney, anti-F1, semi-biased person who says nothing of significance, but you should real my earlier work and my blog. Have a nice time here, and it's all good with your English; I'm American and I don't even speak good English! So yeah, have a nice time, nice to see another person coming out here.
  5. Eric

    Nothing but insightful posts.

Remember to visit www.jamsbio.com, by the way.

  6. I heard you were pretty hairy, Graham. And you are 5'7", Fernando is 5'6", so I wouldn't be talking... Anyway, welcome to all the new posters I've missed.
  7. No, he's not the real Fernando! I am the real Fernando from Spain, and everyone knows it. Actually, I'm Eric from the USA. Have a nice time here.
  8. Welcome back. We're not allowed to swear or have fun hear anymore ( don't take it seriously, mods), so don't worry I look forward to getting the blog comments I never get. If I ever write anything in my blog.
  9. I agree with the above comment.

  10. What ever happened to you?

  11. Welcome, Erico. My name is Eric, but I get called Erico a lot. Glad you joined, we need a new replacement in the Erico department as I am basically non-existant these days. Have fun.
  12. Hey Massaikonen! My name is Eric and you can call me that. Actually, you HAVE to call me that, so deal I don't post here regularly, fortunately for you. I don't watch F1 or really like it much at all. I like stock cars and sprint cars on dirt ovals and stock cars and midgets and modifieds and paved ovals. And no, NASCAE (formerly NASCAR) racing isn't stock car racing. NASCAE: North American Sponsor-Catering Anti-Entertainment. I also like American football. I defend oval racing. Don't diss it. And I defend the use of pads in American football. So don't diss that, either. Anyway, enjoy your stay here and all that jazz. Blehhh jazz. I hope you don't like jazz. I don't. Jazz reminds me of people who drive Toyota Camrys. Which should be a criminal offense, honestly. Why drive an appliance when you can drive a car?
  13. Don't you mean the worst? Shakesqueer is god awful.
  14. Alonso's penalty was complete BS. The Hungarian stewards HATE him it seems, two years, two BS penalties. If that's not allowed, what is? If they can't push the limit, why should they bother? I have confidence he had what it takes to be decent. He finished ninth at Monaco, ran faster laps consitently than Kimi, and had no brakes what-so-ever and didn't benefit from retirements. That stood out to me. 2006 was better for him, though. I think that if he had a better car he would've done pretty well. The problem was that Franz Tost and Gerhard Berger despised him. And yeah, the American media didn't give him much coverage, either, I just searched for it myself because that's what fans do, I guess. JPM's an iffy driver in NASCAR, but time will tell. He had a few good runs. I still think he was awesome in F1. Scott finished seventh in his one and only ARCA race so far, I think he could do decent, but I don't think he'll succeed. JPM has a decent shot at it. JV is pretty bad in NASCAR, to be honest, but he's getting there. And yeah, it was a shame how it ended, but there never seemed to be a place for him in F1, anyway, as you said. I feel if he wasn't American, Red Bull wouldn't have ever bothered with him.
  15. Well, I think he did better than he gets credit for and was less arrogant than people think, but I will admit he never did anything special and did more bad than good. I liked him because he had a good sense of humor, if you've ever seen any of his online videos, and always seemed to be happy. It doesn't really matter about his F1 skill anymore as he is racing stock cars, which are completely different, so we'll see. But I do agree, he didn't do anything for the sport. After the Nurburgring, I was on vacation during Hungary and because I was at a NASCAR race in Pocono, I didn't watch. And I realized that I didn't really miss it. I hadn't watched every race up to the Nurburgring, either, and hadn't watched a single qualifying this year except Hungary (which was pretty interesting). My interest hadn't really run out, it just was never really there. The season had been rather boring for me, and I saw the great race at the Nurburgring followed by the FIA promoting being pansies in Hungary as a good time to leave. I had had enough of the FIA after the Alonso penalty and realized how ****ed the sport was, and figured that since I didn't really like F1 anyway, I'd leave on a high note with the Nurburgring thriller. For what it's worth, I'm really no longer a fan of pro motorsports. I watch the 24 Hours of Daytona, the Indianapolis 500, and then pick and choose a handful of other events depending on what I'm doing that day. I'm a local motorsports man, I race a variety of stock cars, midgets, and sprint cars at local short tracks and attend races like them. I'm an ex-NASCAR and ex-CART fan. My main sports interest is the NFL (GO PATRIOTS!) and the MLB (GO RED SOX!). And that's about it.
  16. Yeah, pretty much. And I stay because every other forum I've been a part of has put me on an IP ban. Granted, I got a new computer a couple weeks ago, so...
  17. I watched 17 Grands Prix in 2006 and about 8 in 2007 and haven't watched since the Nurburgring or somewhere around that and have no plans to watch in 2008. You'll find I'm the anti-F1 on this board. It's really quite a long story why I'm stil here. Yeah, I put it in quotes cuz I couldn't think of a better term. I am, in fact, American, so my command of the English language, like everything else, is horrible Yeah. I'd just like for good racing and a good points battle, even if it means all my least favorites battling it out. Of course, my favorite driver is in ARCA now...(Scott Speed).
  18. Welcome aboard Jack. My name's Eric and I'm 24. I never watched F1 before but I like it here anyway, so maybe you will too! And what an odd season 07 must've been for you, with your favorite team being "sabotaged" by your favorite driver whose teammate was your least favorite! Wow!
  19. ERIC IS ****ING AWESOME.

  20. He was joking Danny. I have had about 4 gfs since I broke up with her. And I still have a gf now. Now stop talking about me so I can never post again, okay?
  21. Alcohol-free c#cktails? All we serve is beer, good beer, Irish beer. But if you post a thread saying that Dale Earnhardt is 300 times better than Michael Schumacher, I'll get some alcohol-free c#cktails at the next party.
  22. Chocolate was too expensive, and I knew of something else that was brown and gooey... ...a melted UPS truck.
